CHERRY COCA COLA SALAD 
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. water
1 can cherry pie filling
2 (3 oz.) boxes cherry Jell-O
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
1 (6 oz.) can Coca Cola
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Heat to boiling the sugar and water. Add cherry pie filling and bring to boil again. Pour over the Jell-O, stirring until dissolved. Add pineapple, juice and all, the Coke, lemon juice and nuts. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan. Refrigerate.

A wonderful compliment to meat and fowl.
