ROYAL PEAR SALAD 
1 c. boiling water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. raspberry flavored gelatin
2 c. cold water
1 can (16 oz.) whole cranberry sauce
1 can lg. Bartlett pears, drained
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp. lemon juice

Dissolve gelatin into boiling water. Add cold water and cranberry sauce. Stir to blend, chill until almost set. Cut all but 3 pear halves into chunks. Slice reserved pear halves and set aside. Stir pear chunks, nuts and lemon juice into gelatin mixture.

Pour into mold. Chill until firm. Arrange sliced pears on top. Serves 7 to 8.
