DILL PICKLES 
4 c. vinegar
4 c. water
1/2 c. salt
3/4 c. sugar
Alum
Grape leaves
Garlic buttons
Fresh dill

Blend together vinegar, water, salt and sugar. Simmer for 15 minutes. Place grape leaf, dill, garlic button and alum in each canning jar. Pack pickles into jars. Pour hot liquid over pickles and process.
