CHERRY PIE FILLING 
3 c. cherries, firmly packed, reserve juice

Bring to a boil:

1 c. cherry juice
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 drops red food coloring

Mix together:

5 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. cherry juice or cold water

Add cornstarch mixture to boiling cherry juice, stirring constantly, until thick. Add to cherries.

This recipe will make 1 pie.
