CASHEW CARAMEL YUMMIES 
BARS:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped salted cashews or peanuts

TOPPING:

2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. chopped salted peanuts or cashews
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. half and half

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9" square pan. In a large bowl, combine sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar and eggs; mix well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2 cup cashews. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.

Meanwhile, melt butter in small saucepan, remove from heat. Add remaining topping ingredients; mix well. Immediately spread topping over baked bars. Broil about 6" from heat for 1 to 2 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Cool completely.
