APPLE PIE 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. fresh orange juice
1/2 c. vegetable oil

Mix flour and salt. Cut in oil. Add orange juice. Mix to form ball; roll thin. Make bottom crust and cross strips.

FILLING:

1/2 c. fresh orange juice
5 tart apples, sliced thin
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour

Combine orange juice, apples, butter and 1/2 cup sugar. Cook over low heat until apples look clear. Remove from heat. Stir in combined flour and sugar well mixed. Pour into pie shell. Top with latticed pastry; bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
