SAUSAGE EGG CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. sausage, browned 6 slices bread, torn into bite-size pieces 5 eggs, beaten 2 c. milk 2 tsp. dry mustard or 1 1/2 tsp. prepared 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated 1 tsp. salt Place broken bread on bottom of greased glass pan. Spread browned sausage on top of bread and spread cheese on both. Stir eggs, milk, mustard and salt together. Pour over mixture. Cover casserole and chill overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Serves 6. |
