HEAD - START BAKED BEANS | |
4 slices bacon, cut in 1/2 inch pieces 1 med. onion, diced 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 c. ketchup 1/3 c. dark corn syrup (or 2 tbsp. molasses) 2 (1 lb.) can pork & beans in tomato sauce Pan fry bacon until partially cooked. Add 1 medium onion and cook until golden. Combine brown sugar, ketchup, corn syrup, and pork & beans. Stir in bacon and onions. Turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. |
