3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. cocoa
2/3 c. oil
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. water

Mix all ingredients together. Place mixture in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Variation: For a spice cake, omit the cocoa and add the following:

1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
