SCOTTISH OAT SCONES 
3 c. flour
4 c. oats
2/3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine dry ingredients. Set aside. Combine wet ingredients. Now mix dry and wet together until dough is moist. Knead dough into ball. Pat out flat onto slightly floured wax paper. Cut into shapes. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar, if desired. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
