YELLOW BUTTER SATIN CAKE 
Mix:

1 yellow cake mix
2/3 c. orange juice
3 eggs
1 stick butter

Bake in 8 or 9 inch round greased and floured layers 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.

FILLING AND TOPPING

In 2 quart saucepan:

Bring to a boil (will be "shiny") :

1 c. sugar
4 1/2 tbsp. corn starch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. water

Add 4 beaten egg yolks and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and add 1 stick butter and 1 tablespoon grated orange rind (optional). Cool. Slice cake horizontally. Fill with cooled filling. Add layer. Repeat ending with filling.
