CAVATINI 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med.onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. slied pepperoni
1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1/2 c. each of 3 pastas (such as rigatoni rotini, macaroni, etc.), cooked, drained and tossed together.
1 (8 oz.) carton cream cottage cheese
1 (10 oz.) pkg. mozzarella cheese, grated

Cook ground beef, onion and green pepper until beef is no longer pink and onion is translucent. Add pepperoni just long enough to heat thoroughly. Drain the mixture and add spaghetti sauce; simmer approximately 5 minutes. Pour half the cooked pasta into a lightly greased 3 quart casserole. Spoon on half the meat and sauce mixture. Spoon all the cottage cheese over sauce. Sprinkle half the mozzarella over cottage cheese. Repeat layers, omitting cottage cheese, and end with mozzarella cheese.

Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
