BAKED RICE AND MUSHROOM
CASSEROLE
 
1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 c. canned sliced mushrooms, drained
3 3/4 c. boiling water
1 stick butter
1 env. dry onion soup mix
1 tsp. salt

Mix rice, mushrooms, boiling water, butter, onion soup mix and salt to taste. Place all ingredients in a casserole dish; mix together well, until butter melts. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
