MAGIC CRANBERRY NUT BREAD 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped pecans
2 c. cranberries
Grated orange rind (optional)

Melt 1 cup of butter. Cool a little. Mix in 2 cups sugar. Add eggs one at a time and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Mix well. Sift together 4 cups flour, 2 teaspoons baking powder, 2 teaspoons baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Add to cream mixture alternately with 2 cups sour cream. Fold in 1 cup pecans and 2 cups floured cranberries. Spread in 2 greased 9x5 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Cool on rack. Optional - grated orange rind. Do not overbake!
