ALMOND GLAZED CAKE 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. butter

1. Beat eggs and sugar until thick. Beat vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add to egg mixture.

2. Scald milk in a saucepan. Add butter. Add milk to flour mixture. Pour batter into a greased 8 inch pan.

3. Bake at 350 degrees until top of cake is well browned, 35 minutes. Then let cook and pour Almond Glaze over it.

ALMOND TOPPING:

In a small pan mix 1/2 cup butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup almond, 2 teaspoons flour and 2 tablespoons milk. Boil. Cover cake.
