CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
3 cups sugar
3 cups sifted cake flour
6 eggs
1 1/2 tbsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Place butter and cream cheese in bowl and let stand until softened. Then, beat together well. Add sugar, little at a time and blend well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add flour little at a time and mix well. Add salt. Add vanilla last and beat until smooth, like satin.

Bake in preheated 325 degree oven in greased and floured tube pan for 1 houre or until done. DO NOT OPEN DOOR FOR 45 MINUTES after putting cake in. If cake appears to be getting too brown at this time, place a piece of aluminum foil on top of cake until done.
