PLUM CAKE 
2 c. self rising flour
2 c. granulated sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
4 eggs
2 sm. jars Gerber's strained plums
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix oil and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Sift dry ingredients together and add with plums and nuts. Mix well. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. sugar
1/2 stick butter
1/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Bring to rolling boil and pour over cake while still warm, not hot.
