TOOTSIE ROLLS 
3 tbsp. butter
2 sq. unsweetened baking chocolate
1/2 c. light Karo corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. powdered milk, sifted until not grainy
3 c. confectioners sugar

Melt butter and chocolate. Add syrup, vanilla, powdered milk and sugar. Knead until well mixed. Roll into roll, then cut when needed.

For a sour burst of flavor, substitute 1 package Kool-Aid for the chocolate.

I used my bread machine to knead this. It came out really glossy and pretty. It is too sticky to work with though. I put it in the fridge. For a few mins. Hopefully I will be able to handle and wrap it. I left it plain, and sticky or not it tastes really good.
