2 egg yolks 1 1/4 c. milk 1/3 c. cooking oil 3 tbsp. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 1/2 c. sifted flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten (do not use blender) In a blender, combine first 5 ingredients; mix well 2-3 seconds. Add flour and baking powder; blend 8-10 seconds. Do not overbeat. Pour into mixing bowl; fold in beaten egg whites. Pour as needed into preheated waffle iron. Bake makes 3 squares 9 inch waffles. |
