PARTY-SIZE POT OF CHILI
This serves a large group of family and/or friends. We serve ours with a variety of toppings to choose from: shredded cheese, sliced black olives, more chopped onions and green peppers, dairy sour cream, and soda crackers. Hope you enjoy!

3 lb. ground beef
3 large onions, diced
3 large green peppers, diced
2 large cans diced tomatoes with juice
3 (10 oz. ea.) cans tomato puree
2 (15 oz. ea.) cans beef broth
1 large can crushed tomatoes
1 1/2 pkgs. chili seasoning (We use Carroll Shelby's)
3 (15 oz. ea.) cans light kidney beans, drained
3 (15 oz. ea.) cans dark kidney beans, drained

Brown ground beef, onions, and green peppers together in a large pot using a tablespoon of oil. Drain thoroughly.

Meanwhile, add diced tomatoes with juice, tomato puree, beef broth, crushed tomatoes and the package and a half of chili seasoning into the pot used to brown the meat. Mix drained meat back into pot. Continue cooking on medium high for approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

Add drained beans to pot and cook an additional 30 minutes or until beans are tender.
