CALYPSO PIE | |
1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream 20 Oreo cookies 1/4 c. butter SAUCE: 1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate (3 sq.) 1/4 stick butter 2/3 c. evaporated milk 2/3 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Dash of salt PIE: Crush 20 Oreo cookies and put in bottom of 9x13 pan. Pour 1/4 cup butter over the cookies. Then take 1/2 gallon of softened vanilla ice cream and spread over top of cookie mixture. Put in freezer while making fudge sauce. When fudge sauce cools, pour over ice cream mixture and return to freezer. SAUCE: Combine all ingredients; cook until thickened. Pour over ice cream mixture as soon as cooled. This will serve about 16-20 people. |
