OATMEAL PATTIES 
2 c. uncooked oatmeal
1 tbsp. McKay's chicken seasoning
1 can mushroom soup
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 beaten egg
1/2 tsp. sage
3 tsp. beef-like seasoning

Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls into skillet with hot oil. Flatten patties with spoon. Brown well on both sides. Serve plain or with gravy or tartar sauce. Yield - 8 servings.

The recipe has great taste. Because I am trying to avoid eggs, I used egg replacer. These were a little hard to turn, and you really have to fry them crisp.
