VEGETARIAN OATMEAL PATTIES 
1 med. onion, chopped fine
1 c. chopped nuts (pecans)
3-4 eggs
1 can mushroom soup
1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. Grapenuts
3/4 tsp. each salt & sage
Regular Salad Supreme

Mix all ingredients above in any order. Let stand 1/2 hour. Form with hands into small patties. Fry in small amount of oil, brown on both sides. Place in baking dish. (Cover with diluted mushroom soup and bake until hot at 350 degrees.)

May also form into balls for meatballs and use spaghetti sauce for baking.

These do not need to be baked, can use as is after frying.
