SNICKER CAKE 
1 pkg. devil's food cake
26 caramels
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. peanuts
1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 box chocolate instant pudding
1/2 c. milk

Prepare cake as directed. Pour half of batter into 9 x 13 inch greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt caramels with milk. Pour over baked layer. Sprinkle with peanuts. Pour on other half of batter. Bake 20 minutes. Cool. Combine Cool Whip, pudding and milk. Frost cake when cooled.
