STEVE'S SALAD | |
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese 1 (16 oz.) can fruit, drained 1 (8 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained 1 (4 1/2 oz.) carton Cool Whip, thawed Sprinkle dry Jello over cottage cheese. Add fruit and pineapple and stir to mix well. Fold in Cool Whip. Cover and refrigerate 4 or more hours. VARIATIONS: Orange Jello with diced mandarin oranges. Mixed fruit Jello with fruit cocktail. Peach Jello with diced peaches. Lime Jello with diced pears. Strawberry Jello with chopped nuts (omit fruit). Lime Jello with fruit cocktail, 1 cup miniature marshmallows, 1/2 cup chopped pecans. (Leave out pineapple.) |
