HOT DOG RELISH 
4 c. chopped onions
4 c. chopped cabbage
12 whole chopped green pepper
10 whole chopped green tomatoes
1/2 c. salt
2 tbsp. mustard seed
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 1/2 tbsp. turmeric
6 c. sugar
4 c. vinegar
2 c. cold water

Grind vegetable using a course blade. Drain and sprinkle with salt. Let stand overnight. Rinse and drain. Mix and add spices; boil 5-10 minutes in syrup of sugar, water and vinegar. Can in hot jars and seal. Makes 8 pints.
