SEAFOOD CHOWDER 
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tbsp. cooking oil
3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/4 c. rice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
Dash cayenne
1 qt. hot water
2 c. cooked flaked salmon or 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna & 1 (4 oz.) can shrimp, drained

Saute onion, green pepper and garlic in oil. Add remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Cover and simmer 1 hour.
