VEGETABLE SALAD 
1 head of cabbage, shredded
2 med. carrots, shredded
1 green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1/2 c. oil
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello

Mix vegetables. Pour salad oil over mixture and stir. Combine sugar, vinegar and salt. Bring to a boil. Add gelatin and stir to dissolve. Let cool. Then pour over vegetables and mix. Let stand in refrigerator to congeal. This will keep in the refrigerator indefinitely.
