1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
4 tbsp. peanut butter
1 c. oatmeal

Mix all ingredients like pie crust. Pat in jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Frost warm with Fudge Frosting and top with nuts.

FUDGE FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. milk

Put all ingredients in saucepan and boil for 1 minute. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Cool and beat thick. Spread on warm bars.
