ROAST LAMB WITH MINT SAUCE 
6 lbs. lamb meat or leg
Flour to roll your leg of lamb in
Shortening or lard to sear meat, turn meat from side to side
1 c. cold water, add to meat after simmering
Salt and pepper to taste
Butter for basting frequently while cooking the leg of lamb

MINT SAUCE:

1/2 c. chopped mint leaves
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. water
