MOTHER'S CRANBERRY MOLD 
1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 c. boiling water
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 tart apple, shredded (Granny Smith's work great)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts, optional

In saucepan (or microwave), heat cranberry sauce. Add water and Jello. Stir until Jello dissolves. Add lemon juice and salt. Chill until slightly thick. Add mayonnaise. Beat until fluffy with electric hand beater. Fold in apple and walnuts. Pour in mold and chill. Can easily be increased. Serves 6.
