HERSHEY SYRUP CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. self-rising flour
1 lg. can Hershey's syrup
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add flour gradually, and syrup and vanilla. Pour in greased pan, sprinkled with cocoa. May use 1 (9x13 inch) pan or two 8-inch square pans. Bake at 350 degrees until done, about 25 minutes.

Make icing and pour on warm cake.

ICING:

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. chocolate bits

Melt chocolate, and other ingredients together. Boil for 2 minutes. Beat and pour on cake.
