SIRLOIN TIPS | |
2 lbs. beef sirloin tip, cut into 1 inch cubes 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) beef consomme 1/3 c. Burgundy wine 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 clove garlic, minced 1/4 tsp. onion salt 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1/4 c. water Brown beef in cooking-spray prepared skillet. Add consomme, wine, soy sauce, garlic and onion salt. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender. Blend cornstarch and water; stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 1 minute. If desired, mushroom and/or onions (sliced into rings - omit onion salt) may be added after meat is browned. |
