4 sticks butter
2 eggs
4 c. flour
Preserves, your family's favorite (I use elderberry, blackberry, apricot)

Mix butter with eggs, add flour gradually. Form 2 cookie balls. Roll out cookie dough in powdered sugar. Use biscuit cutter to cut circles in cookie dough. Fill circle with 1 teaspoon of your favorite preserves or jam. Bring one side of circle together to form horn. Bring one side over and put under cookie. This way cookie will not pull apart during baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 8 minutes until lightly browned. While still warm, sprinkle with powdered sugar and store in air tight container.
