CHILI 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
2 med. onions, chopped
2 (1 lb. 13 oz.) cans tomatoes
3 (12 oz.) tomato paste
3 tsp. salt
3 tsp. dry mustard
3 garlic cloves
68 oz. can red kidney beans
4 tbsp. brown sugar
3 tsp. sweet basil
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3 tsp. ground chili pepper

Brown beef and sausage. Drain fat from meat. Break meat into small pieces. Combine all ingredients. Add water as needed. Simmer 3 hours or until thick. Remove garlic. Serve.
