STRAWBERRY (SHORTCUT) CAKE 
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, completely thawed
1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 box yellow cake mix

Generously grease bottom only of 9x13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle marshmallows evenly over bottom of pan. Thoroughly combine strawberries and syrup with gelatin, set aside.

Mix cake according to package directions. Pour batter carefully and evenly over marshmallows. Spoon strawberry mixture evenly over batter. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. Serve cold with whipped cream or ice cream. Marshmallows will rise to top. Strawberries sink to bottom.
