CHERRY DESSERT 
3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 c. soda cracker crumbs
1/2 c. chopped pecan nuts
1 pkg. Dream Whip
1 can cherry pie filling

Beat egg whites to soft peaks and gradually add sugar. Fold in cracker crumbs and nuts. Spread 7 x 11 or 9 x 13 buttered pan or dish. Bake in 300 degree oven for 30 minutes or until light brown. Remove and cool.

Prepare Dream Whip and directed and spread on cooled meringue. Add cherry pie filling to top. Cool overnight.
