HOT CHOCOLATE SAUCE 
1/2 lb. butter (1 cup butter)
1 1/2 lb. powdered sugar
1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
8 oz. Baker's chocolate
Vanilla or mint ice cream

Melt 1/2 lb. or 1 c. butter in top of double boiler or heavy saucepan. Beat in powdered sugar until smooth. Add 1 1/4 cups evaporated milk. Simmer 20 minutes. Add Baker's chocolate. Simmer until chocolate is melted. Serve hot over vanilla or mint ice cream. May be stored in refrigerator, heated as needed in microwave.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
