LITTLE ANGEL CUPCAKES 
1/2 c. nonfat milk
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. cake flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Powdered sugar

In saucepan, mix milk and sugar. Add butter; scald. Add vanilla and cool a little.

In a bowl, mix sifted cake flour, baking powder and salt. Add to scalded milk mixture and mix well.

Beat egg whites until foamy. Add cream of tartar and beat until stiff. Fold into flour/milk mixture. Fill cupcake pans 2/3 full. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes. Shake powdered sugar over top of cakes.
