SCALLOPED SCALLOPS 
1 pt. scallops
1/2 c. butter
1 c. cracker crumbs (Ritz are best)
1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
3/4 c. light cream
Salt and pepper to taste

Wash and pick over scallops. Cut sea scallops in quarters. Melt butter and add cracker crumbs. Put a layer of crumbs in a buttered casserole dish, cover with a layer of scallops. Add half the crumbs and season. Repeat. Cover with buttered soft crumbs and bake at 350 degrees for about 1/2 hour. Serves 4.
