1 c. brown sugar 1 c. white sugar 1 c. butter 1 c. salad oil 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 c. flaked coconut 1 c. Rice Krispies 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 1 c. oatmeal 3 1/2 c. flour Mix sugars, butter and oil. Add egg and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients. Add coconut, Rice Krispies, chocolate chips and oatmeal. Stir until blended. If your family does not care for coconut, omit that item, and increase Rice Krispies and oatmeal by 1/2 cup. Put into refrigerator for several hours or until ready to bake. Make night before if you choose. Spoon cookie dough into balls (walnut size). Press down with a glass that has been dipped in sugar. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees on greased cookie sheet. Makes scads. Freezes extremely well. |
