BEST YET CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1/2 c. gran. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
3 tbsp. oil
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. (12 oz.) Best Yet semi-sweet choc. chips
3/4 c. nutmeats

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small mixing bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla and egg. Beat well. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Roll a heaping tablespoon of dough into a ball. Place each ball 2" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove cookie sheet from oven and place cookies on a cooling rack.
