SIMPLE CHILI 
1 lb. ground beef
2 med. onions
2 (15 oz.) cans red kidney beans, including juice from cans
2 (15 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes, including juice from cans
1 to 2 cloves garlic, sliced
1 c. water
2 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. ground cumin
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (1 oz.) cube unsweetened chocolate (optional)

Brown ground beef in skillet. Saute onions until clear. Put meat, onions and all other ingredients in large soup kettle or pot. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and let simmer for at least 1 hour. Add fresh ground pepper before serving with cornbread sticks. Yield: 4 to 6 servings.
