STEAK SOUP 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
1/2 gallon water
2 lbs. ground round
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped carrots
1 tsp. black pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn
1 c. chopped celery
1 (10 oz.) frozen mixed vegetables
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (optional)
1 - 1 1/2 tbsp. seasoning salt
2 tbsp. beef broth base
Diced potatoes (optional)

Melt butter and add flour. Slowly add water, stirring constantly. Saute beef and drain. Add to water. Add all the remaining ingredients. Bring to boil, then simmer until vegetables are tender, 30 to 45 minutes.
