CHOCOLATE FLAP JACK 
6 oz flour
6 oz rolled oats
4 oz butter
3 oz light muscovado sugar
5 tbsp golden syrup
4 oz milk chocolate

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Stir together the flour and oats in a large mixing bowl. In a sauce pan, melt together the butter, sugar, syrup and chocolate. When melted, add mixture to oats and flour and mix thoroughly.

Oil an oblong shaped brownie tin and spread the mixture into it evenly.

Bake on the middle shelf of the oven for 12-15 minutes, then cool and cut in to squares.

Makes 15.
