FRIED RICE 
1 lb. rice
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion
1 med. green pepper
1 stick celery, chopped
1 tbsp. soy sauce
Salt and pepper

Cook rice to slightly underdone, but fluffy. Wash and drain; set aside. Chop vegetables and brown with the ground beef. Add soy sauce, salt and pepper. As the meat browns, use a potato masher to separate it so there will be no lumps. After the vegetables are tender and the meat well cooked, add the rice. Cook slightly longer. Serves 6-8.
