GOLDEN NUGGET MEATLOAF 
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. minced onion
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1 1/2 lb. ground beef

Measure one 1/2 cup tomato sauce and reserve. Combine remaining tomato sauce with egg, crackers, salt, and pepper and mix well. Add onions, cheese, and mix gently. Add ground beef and mix lightly.

Place in loaf pan; bake in 350 degree oven about 45 minutes. Pour off fat; spoon reserved tomato sauce over loaf and bake an additional 15 minutes.
