AUNT MYRTLE'S GOODIES 
32 caramels
5 tbsp. milk

1 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. melted butter
6 oz. chocolate chips
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 c. coconut

Stir until well mixed. Then press 1/2 to 3/4 of oatmeal mixture into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Layer chocolate chips, chopped nuts, and coconut. Pour melted caramels evenly over top. Crumble remaining oatmeal mixture on top of caramels. Bake 12 minutes more.
