1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 c. corn flakes (1 1/2 c. crushed)

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Slowly add flour, mixing thoroughly. Add crushed corn flakes and mix well. Drop dough by level teaspoons on greased cookie sheet about three inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown around the edges.
