JALAPENO CORN BREAD 
2 1/2 c. corn meal
1/2 c. flour
2 c. milk
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. bacon drippings or oil
3 eggs, beaten
1 lg. onion, grated
2 tsp. sugar
1 c. cream style corn
1/4-1/2 c. chopped jalapeno peppers (or less)
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
1/4 lb. crisp bacon, crumbled (optional)

Mix all ingredients. Pour into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour or until browned.
